ABOUT US

Before I founded Alliance Forest Products, I was the President / COO of one of the largest wood pallet and custom wood packaging companies in the state of Wisconsin. That company employed over 100 people, posted annual sales in excess of $10MM and continue to be very successful. My employment there provided me the knowledge and experience in the packaging industry to eventually own and direct my own wood pallet and crating company. Our primary mission and theme is to be “your single source for packaging and shipping solutions”.

Today, the dynamic for the packaging and crating industry has undergone a significant transformation. Years ago most manufacturers employed an internal packaging engineer(s) to design their wood pallets, skids or crates to ship their products out. But over the years many companies eliminated that position. Manufacturers instead, transitioned that responsibility over to a pallet and crating professional, thus reducing their costs while gaining packaging industry expertise. Now the process for the pallet and crating industry is:

• View the customer’s product(s) being shipped
• Identify the most viable and cost-effective shipping method
• For standard shipments, suggest the most appropriate pallet to use
• For complex shipments, design the most viable pallet or crate at the lowest cost
• Build and deliver the pallets or crates

At Alliance Forest Products our objective is to provide options and solutions to manufacturers and distributors for virtually any shipping requirement. Then back that up by assuring quality products, prompt delivery, complete packaging design capabilities and outstanding customer service; while maintaining a “green” agenda for recycling all wood waste vs. hauling it to a landfill. We realize pallets are often viewed as a commodity. So we felt it necessary to develop “value-added” elements to our products and services. Why Alliance? Because we:

Although our local market area is servicing companies in Greater Milwaukee and Southeastern Wisconsin, we’ve also created a Nationwide Partner Alliance of over 60 wood products manufacturers and recyclers. These pallet and crating professionals are located throughout the country and assist us in servicing national contracts.
